There are many many accommodation options for travelling to a city such as Barcelona and the key really is to plan and consider first:
- What is your budget?
- What type of area you need i.e. noisy, quiet or easy access to local transportation.
- What age group are your party?
If you are all youthful a youth hostel i.e. backpackers accommodation might well be your best option. For families I often recommend vacation apartments because they have self catering facilities. If you have a lot of money and just want pure luxury, a4 or 5 star hotel in a great area such as Gracia can work best. There are also many excellent Barcelona hostels in areas such as Las Ramblas and Exiample which are worth considering.
