1. Illa Fantasia
Illa Fantasia is a water park in Barcelona and has a barbecue area and 800 picnic tables and is the largest of its kind in Europe. The park is open from the beginning of June to mid September.
2. Parc de la Ciutadella
An ancient city park, the Parc de la Ciutadella, sprawls over 43 acres and hosts several outdoor activities for children all through the year. The park has three playground
areas and a duck pond.
3. Parc del Laberint d’ Horta
Spread across nine hectares, this spectacular park features peacocks, romantic gardens and a maze. In addition to this, there is a kids’ playground and a picnic area on the outskirts of the park.
4. Aqualeon
Aqualeon, a combination of a Safari park and a water park, features a mini zoo and a mini park for younger children as well as ramps and slides for teenagers. This is NOT in Barcelona but is a park which is possible from your Barcelona base but allow and expect 1-2 hours each way to get there and back. Location: Finca Basses, Albinyana, near Barcelona. 5. Parc de Joan Miro
Parc de Joan Miro is great park for children below the age of five. The park features a section for dogs, a roller skating area, a rope climbing frame and a grassy area.
